THE PEOPLEING OF GHANA

Ghana has been divided into three zones. i.e. Savanna, forest zone/Southern Zone and the coastal zone.

Savanna Zone

The Savanna zone comprises of the following ethnic groups:

a)      Dagombas

b)      Nanumbas

c)       Fra fra

d)      Chekosi

e)      Bimoba

f)       Gonjas

g)      Mamprusi

The Dagombas, Nanumbas, Gonjas and the Mamprusi are the four invading groups. These four ethnic groups are coming from one parent ethnic group, that is the mole- dagbani group
